Jeff Bruckner Joins American Business Development Group

Arlington, VA, February 15, 2010

Lieutenant Colonel (Ret) Jeff Bruckner has accepted the position as Director of American Business Development Groups (ABDG) newest sector, the Command, Control, Communication, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (C4ISR) Division effective February 1, 2010. COL Bruckner brings additional military service and Federal Government experience to ABDG’s organization.

Upon retirement from the Army, Jeff was hired by Motorola to be the US Army Strategic Programs Manager for the US Federal Governments Markets Division (USFGMD). In that 11 plus year career with Motorola, Jeff worked directly with the Pentagon CIO/G-6 Office assisting in the development of Program (OPA) dollars necessary to migrate US Army Land Mobile Radios (LMR) Infrastructures to meet the Congressionally Mandated Narrow Band standards. Jeff also managed the relationship between Motorola, and the CIO/G6 Office as well as the US Army Program Executive Office for Enterprise Information Systems (PEO-EIS) in the execution of Program Budget of over $1.5B for Land Mobile Radio Systems.

Colonel Bruckner, a 1976 West Point Graduate, served as an Infantry Officer and Planner in positions from Platoon to Corps during his 22 years on active duty; over half of which was in Europe or the Persian Gulf. During the Persian Gulf War he served as a Plans Officer for the 24th Infantry Division Mechanized with duty at the XVIII Airborne Corps Staff. He later served for 4 years as the Director of Operations and Public Safety on the Garrison Staff of Fort Lee, Virginia.

"ABDG has been looking for the right military officer to guide our new Communications Division and we feel very fortunate that Colonel Bruckner was willing to take this challenge to lead us in this effort" commented Bill Skipper, ABDG’s President and CEO. Michael Hurst, ABDG’s Vice President of Military Operations said "Jeff's experiences, relationships and knowledge of the C4ISR arena makes him a valuable asset to ABDG, and our clients, as we compete for market share in this very competitive economic marketplace".
