Brian Keller is a Senior Consultant with the American Business Development Group, an internationally respected, full-spectrum business development consulting firm, now representing a diverse list of over fifty prominent U.S. and international businesses. American Business Development Group enjoys a reputation as the largest business development firm in the United States which specializes in the re-equipping and modernization of the United States Armed Forces. The firm has facilitated more than $680,000,000 in “new found sales” for client companies in the last year and historically each year for the last four years.
Mr. Keller specializes in Department of Defense (DOD) research, development and acquisition. From 2004 through 2006, Mr. Keller was President and Chairman of GMA Cover Corporation. GMA is an industry leader in the development and manufacturing of camouflage, cover, concealment and deception systems for military use. During his tenure, Mr. Keller directed the successful GMA capture of the $1.7B DOD Ultra Lightweight Camouflage Net System (ULCANS) program. Prior to GMA, Mr. Keller was the Vice President for Strategic Development for Stewart & Stevenson, Inc. (now part of BAE Systems) where he successfully directed the effort to capture the Family of Medium Tactical Vehicle (FMTV) A1R production program. In addition to capturing this $3.5B program, Mr. Keller led the Stewart & Stevenson Corporate Team in Kuwait to establish the initial in-country support capabilities for Operation Iraqi Freedom. Mr. Keller retired from the U.S. Army in 2000. His last military job was as the Product Manager for Soldier Support Systems. In this capacity, he was the Government lifecycle manager for 56 product lines. His duties included responsibility for the design, development and production of DOD airdrop systems, shelter systems, field service systems and field feeding systems.
Mr. Keller is a 1979 graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point. He also has an MS in Industrial Engineering and an MBA. Additionally, Mr. Keller graduated from the Harvard Business School Program for Management Development and completed the Georgetown University Program in Legislative Studies. He is a frequent guest lecturer in the areas of Program Management, Logistics and Supply Chain Management at several universities including the University of Alabama, Michigan State University and the University of West Florida.
